Our Story: Where Art Meets Heart

The Spark of Creation
In 2015, founder Emily Torres – a third-generation framer and RISD graduate – transformed her Brooklyn garage into a canvas workshop. She hand-stretched her first canvas using salvaged barn wood and non-toxic inks. What began as 12 experimental pieces for local cafés grew into a community-driven movement – today, we craft 100000+ custom canvases annually while maintaining Emily’s original commitment to sustainability.

Why We Exist
Preserving Memories, Not Just Printing Photos
When Emily’s grandfather passed away in 2017, a faded family photo inspired our core mission: "Create heirloom-quality art that outlives generations."
Unlike typical print shops, we:
· Use museum-grade canvas.
· Partner with 1% for the Planet, planting 1 tree per order since 2020.
· Train art restoration specialists to hand-retouch every uploaded photo.

The Artisan Team
Our 21-member studio includes:
· 4 master framers trained in European techniques
· 3 digital restoration experts
· 5 eco-packaging engineers

Sustainability in Action: Our Carbon Offset Commitment
We actively offset over 2,400 tons of CO₂ by planting trees and supporting reforestation projects. These trees naturally absorb CO₂ from the atmosphere, reducing greenhouse gases. This is part of our commitment to sustainability, which includes using eco-friendly materials, minimizing waste, and responsible packaging.
